UNISEM Co., Ltd. obtained and reflected International Certification in environmental management system ISO 14001 for business premises in 2014 for pre-emptive and active response to environmental legislation and regulates specific operating standards and instructions as the management systems applicable to performance. Through these efforts, we understand and manage the impact on the environment and human health of harmful chemical substances used for research and development through environmental impact assessment and chemical hazard risk assessment. Moreover, we provide special training for the personnel who handle chemical substances and preventive inspections for chemical accidents. All sites where the chemical operation takes place are equipped with Material Safety Data Sheet where anyone can easily access and review.
